Turn ignition, then nothing happens

Hi all,
Have been at Oulton Park today, and went to go out on track for another session, turned the ignition on, all lights came on as normal, then went to turn the car over and nothing happened, and all the lights went out. :tired:

Issue with the starter motor? Guessing its something electric. The 'STOP' light was on on the dash whatever that means.

Had to bump start the car for the rest of the day.

There is a spade connector on the starter that may have come off. Or it could be the starter that is knackered.

Turns out it is a loose spade connector on the starter motor

I had that happen to me. In my case I plugged the spade back in but a few weeks later it came out again. I had to wait for the manifold to cool down before plugging it in - my hand actually got pretty stuck too between 2 of the manifold pipes. It kept happening till I used pliers to squash the spade connector a little before plugging it back in.
