Octavia vRS
Hi all,
My brother has got a issue with his 1.2 clio. He first noticed that the "ABS" light and also the "serv" light came on whilst he was driving. So our first thoughts was it might be the brake pads as these have not been changed from new. So we went and got some brake pads. When we jacked the car up and took the wheel and the brake pads still had a canny bit of meat on them. So we still changed them, and when we drove about for a bit the lights came on again. We also notice it was made a funny noise when you where braking while turning left, the brake pedal also jumps like the ABS is kicking in. So we took it to a big empty car park and did a big circle turning right and nothing happened and very thing worked as normal car stopped and no funny noise. So decided to do the same but turn left and brake and I got the pedal jumping back and also the noise. We have jacked the car up again to see if we can see anything wrong with the suspension or anything like that, its not causing any harm as yet but I just want to know if any of you can think of what it is?
Cheers Rob.
