Tv signal in car

  RenaultSport Clio 172 Mk2
Don't know but looks like it would do the job. Aerial looks like it could sit on the parcel shelf next to the back window.

I've been pondering this setup too, with a freeview type box and HU screen.

Don't know about the TV license.

good good gota cover the wires even tho its hard some times. i put a 7" roof mout screen on back part of my roof other day. had to run 3 wires and thick rca leads under my roof lining all way to front of car AROUND the sunroof lol.

What do you think of this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DVB-T-Mobile-Car-TV-freeview-Digital-TV-Receiver-Box_W0QQitemZ290002053732QQihZ019QQcategoryZ67772QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem#ebayphotohosting i think it looks great for the money

Don't know whether its the case where you are, but pretty much everywhere in the western world its the rule that if a TV screen can be seen by the driver it has to shut off when the vehicle is moving and/or the engine is running. It is usually an offence to have a TV display that is visible to the driver and is even capable of working while the driver should be concentrating on driving.

Hi all :)
Im looking at this currently myself. I have a Kenwood 7" screen im looking at mounting in the centre of the dash where the clock lies when i manage to get a slave panel from a scrapyard hopefully later today. I plan on running an xbox to it to play mp3 etc but then saw something similar re dvb-t tuner for a car and thought it'd be a nice idea. when I asked a few ice chaps locally they said the units are rather poor and reccomended a freeview box as most run from 12v anyhow and have better tuners, i was told you will need a very good ariel to get any sort of pic in the region of £50-£100, ones ive been told to get are either stalk type on roof or one which fits between the lining of the material of the roof.
good luck cos wood be good to see some pics when done :)

@ rude_boi_rob

how did you mount screen / xbox ?
xbox JUST fits under seat altho not sure how im going to sort leads etc. I got a slave panel froms crappers yest got screen but was a clio without the clock so just has a flat storage space which i wasnt sure how would work, could be easier or worse.
Thinking mounting it ir sensor somewhere in front panel to work it with xbmc as dash which i have setup on the xb waiting....
