TWEETERS IN DASH

  R26
Theres 2 ways

One is to remove the dash, theres a guide here

The other one is to do what i did..

You can twist the tweeter covers so they come off then you can force the old tweeter out with a screw driver and feed a wire down through the dash with a coat hanger

I managed the above with a bit of difficulty as i really didnt want to remove the dash unless i had to but its all sorted now

Re-wiring the tweeters with cross overs is another story!

I dont really fancy taking the dash out as youll never get it back to normal youll start getting creakes here and there so when u take the covers of how do u force the tweeter out and is it easy to fit the new ones in wb Cheers bud

I suppose forcing them out depends on how yours are set, they are only twisted into the top of the dash in the same way as the covers are

For my new ones i popped the old tweeters out of the old surrounds and put my new ones inside and slotted them back in but again i think thats down to the size of the new tweeters

Take a cover off and have a look
