Is the best place for tweeters in a valver behind the grills on the dash or just stuck further up

Not sure on the sound difference but it looks tidier when they are hidden behind the grilles.
This N reg has some fitted into the top dash and that looks quite nice.

neither, but you will need to cu the door cards to fit them in the best position

ive found that mounting the tweeter within 2" of the mid driver and angled just behind the drivers head creates the best sound stage in a car

I have stuck mine behind the grills in the dash aiming towards my head and that seems to do the trick.
