  Black 172 MK2
does look kinda like a C2 but with the exhuasts and 182 style wheels it looks spot on and id have one. espec with a 1*2 engine or alike in there

much better then the current twingo, and nicer than the new clio, decent spec engine in there and i'd buy one!

  Turbos.
Awesome!

A return to a genuinely lightweight hot hatch would be great, but i can't see the point in them even doing that concept? The whole point of it is that it's a cheap city car, there would be no market for having a Twingo RS and Clio RS surely?

It's a bloody C2!

That's exactly what I thought.

No way they'll ever make it look like that either, but if they could squeeze in an F4R into it I'd buy one :)

I realy like it even the normal ones look good.

I like how they've fitted 4 pots front and rear on it.

Would make for a good Renault sport tunned one as its happeneing apparently.

"This is Renault’s all-new Twingo city car, due in the UK in September 2007. We never got the Mk1, but Renault has this time engineered the Twingo for right-hand drive. And that’s a good job too, with a Renaultsport version – packing as much as 150bhp – in the pipeline. The pumped up hot hatch you see here is officially a concept, hinting at the RS version with those mighty wheelarches and aero bodykit."

i think with the clio and other cars in the class getting bigger, i think what was the smallest model in the range has now really moved into the territory of the medium family hatches of a few years ago, the likes of the 306 and megane. the twingo's got more in common with the mk1 and 2 clios than the mk3 does. so maybe we should start driving twingos.

shame its such a s**t name.
