Typical Renault dealers! :o(

Typical Renault dealers... got one part of what I need but not the wiring!! The crank sensor etc I need to make my car work they have only got part of in stock so I have to wait until next week because they don't have the wiring I need! Typical!

My car wouldn't start yesterday and I knew it wasn't the battery because I had a new one a few weeks ago. The guy from the garage came up and put his computerised thingy on it and decided it must be the crank sensor because he's replaced so many on Clios that wouldn't start and until recently even the replaced ones needed replacing because the wiring has had to be modified!

Try just giving it a clean, worked a treat for me!

But would it happen again? Or is your car still running OK after your cleaning? I would hate for it not to start and for it to be stuck out in the wilds somewhere!

Mine is still running, has been for about 8 months, the diagnostics machine didn't show anything so mechanic checked it, said it was filthy and just gave it a clean.

Just clean it mate. My sisters car had it done about 6 months ago now and its fine

My dealer if it doesn't have stuff in stock orders it and it's delivered same day if you phone earlyish

Mine showed on diagnostics and was replaced. Towed 12 miles by the AA
