Tyre change 182

My tyres are bout 1mm off the wear indicators on the fronts...is it best to change them do you think once i reach the indicators?


If i was on the indicators is that actually the legal limit and should they be changed once i reach this :S

Depedns there still legal are you happy with them can you affrod new ones?

Indicator is the legal limit 1.6mm accorss 755 of the tread with if the real working but those wear markers give you the answer you want reay to know ehn to chnage.

3 points per wheel which is less than the legal limit if your caught by the police so might be worth doing it early.

cant really afford them at the min

due for an MOT in july would plan on changing both fronts then.

so as soon as i get to the indicator if i got stopped and they were level with the indicator is this also 3 points?

Sort of yep the second you touch the marker thats the limit realy but you could get realy picky with the police yand get them measured etc but you'd loose realy.
