Tyre Foam

Chipboard screw in tyre... so:

1) Jack the car up
2) Fill tyre with 2 cans of foam (no need to remove tyre valve)
3) Wait a minute
4) Lower the car again
5) Remove screw with a screwdriver
6) Drive off again.




OK, my second "repairable" puncture... but I'd still rather have a spare after being stranded for a few hours (earlier this year).

only prob is that as soon as the foam is it the tyre is dead as the sealing chemicals also eat away at the tyre lining (effectively the tube)

i would rather inflate it a little over what it should be and drive to the nearest tyre place to get it repaired
