Tyre pressure sensors

Just booked my wheels in to be powder coated in a weeks time - all four rims have tyre pressure sensors on them is it difficult to take these off? and is it liekly to throw up any warning lights when they're re fitted?

Each one is specifically coded to each wheel. So as long as they are put back on the side and axle they came off, there shouldn't be a problem.

From memory they each have a different coloured band around them, you could make a note of which came off and where.

Good stuff thanks - are they particularly hard to get off? The guy doing the wheels is removing and refitting the tyres for me so hopefully he shouldnt have a problem with them

Haven't got a clue as to how they come off mate.

They're not cheap to buy and re-code at Renault though, so be careful.

How long have they been on there? They may come off they may not, they've a nasty habit of shearing off.

I imagine since the car was new tbh - 2009.
