As above:

Manual states: 33F 32R day-to day, 34F 32R motorway.

Apparently, since then, renault have changed the pressures from whats above...

Can anyone confirm this?

ive dropped my tyres considerably, to around what fred suggested a while ago (although ive now forgot), and on the 17s i dont notice any increase in wear, but the difference in grip over standard tyre pressures is easily noticeable.

drop your pressures to 30psi max (front) and 27psi max (rear)

this suits my driving style the best, best to experiment to what suits you

(unless youre running sh*tty PE2s, these need like 40PSI in them to stop the sidewalls falling apart!!!)

  Volvo S60 T5

2.3 front and 2.1 rear (Bar)

Think they have been changed recently to 2.8 Bar front and 2.3 Bar rear to cover the PE2s just like Fred says.

Doesnt your steering feel really heavy though?

nope, as i said it suits my driving style

BUT with 182s running sh*tty PE2s on track you NEED to pump them upto 38psi + front to stop sidewall scrub

(funny, i thought these fancy tyres were supposed to have stiff sidewalls???)

ive seen loads of people wear all the writing off the outer shoulder on the front left on track

Phunkey, its not what the bods at Renault reommend, this is what i suggest, but dont go trying 40psi in your front tyres on the road LOL!!! I really hate PE2s

heavy steering? worried about sidewalls?

pfft, pussies ;)

seriously though, steering doesnt get much heavier, and its worth it - but as fred said its down to driving style and preference. Do you like to park your car, or drive your car? :)

Theres a lot of truth in this. i dropped my pressures down a couple of PSI at Oulton Park the other week and things were a lot better.
