Tyre Rotation

Hi,

I have just put a new wheel alloy/tyre on my clio, and realised as i was doin up the last nut that the rotation of the tyre is facing the wrong way. Im gonna change it tomorrow at the garage so would driving like this for say 60 miles do any damage?

Thanks

Wouldn't have though so, bet there is 1000's of people who don't even know there on the wrong way.

Biggest problem would be when you encounter some surface water, instead of the blocks pushing the water to the outside of the tyre they will force it into the middle and possibly induce aquaplaining.

Mat.

oh boy........ you cant swap from side to side
just front to rear

as well as the tread being back to front you will get more wear cos you will be braking on different parts of the tread now

for 60 miles should be ok as long as you wernt ragging it
