Nice read that, shame they don't cover the rotational percentage slip area in that article (as in braking)...as I could refer one or two members off here to it so they'd understand that ABS does not slow you quicker.
 
But ABS was never designed to make your stopping distance shorter, It was created to give you control under heavy braking.

If ABS was faster at stopping your car, why don't they use it in racing cars.

I don't see F1 cars with ABS!!!!!
 
^^I think Williams were the only team to figure out how to use it back 1993 when all electronic aids were legal in F1.
 
abs was designed to help under heavy braking and to brake round corners.

Try braking HARD round corner wiothout ABS............... you'll go straight on.
