Tyre shine products

Whats the most recommended tyre shine product i should buy?..

I want stuff that lasts long, and is brilliant at its job....

halfords lol. think its about the £7 region.

bout a fiver i think i payed? any car shop really, halfords etcc..

clean ya tyres with a brush, then whack it on with a paintbrush, then leave it for a bit, then buff most of it off, then i tend to redo it after a bit to make it even shineyer.

I use AG Instant Tyre Shine brushed on, may not last forever but for short term looks it cant be beaten imo. And all tyre shines are just for the outside walls!

dunno. not lasted that long for me this time, but think that due to all this f**king rain weve had these last few days and ive been up n down the motorway.

Not many will stand up to rain.

Best two I have found a Blackfire Long lasting Tyre Gel or Poorboys Bold and Bright Dressing.

Autoglym Tyre Dressing looks great but lasts about a day - ideal for shows.

Meguiars Endurance atracks dirt like nothing else and splatters up the car.

Yes, it's the stuff I'm currently using.

I use the Meguirs stuff and put it on with one of those sponge applicators, better than most others ive use, ive heard good things about the poorboys stuff too.

When you use it apply with a paintbrush and it's very easy to use.

Poorboys one works well - cheaper, easier to apply than the Blackfire, looks nearly as good, but not quite as well lasting.

dont think i'll be using the stuff again, had the carwash that did my car put some on for me yesterday and im fairly certain it was the cause of my car ending up in a big tank splapper yesterday on the a127 at about 80

Wouldnt let anyone else wash my car..but thats just me ...but if they put tyre shine on the tread...then they are dam stupid.
