Tyre size for my 2118s

Bought some 2118s yesterday, and I'm about to order some tyres for them off Camskill. I've read on here that people have run them with 195/50s. Will this be ok?

Cheers.

That's what I'd go for everytime. Did you get the 2118's off chris205?

NICE! What tyres are you opting for? I'm thinking of getting some 15s myself for the cheap tyre bonus, 2118's are a bit pricey for me though. I'd love some comp MO or TH's.

After reading up alot on here I've got it to Toyo T1Rs or Uniroyal rainsports. Both seem to get mixed reviews and the price in the both is negligable, around 36/37 quid a tyre inc VAT.

For the price I'd get the Toyo's too. Wouldn't mind trying something else though. I think the T1-R is a great tyre for the price despite what some people on here say (maybe I don't drive the car hard enough!). They made my 328 sport feel so much safer (they were 245s though). Not the greatest in the wet but for the price you can not complain.

Go for these:

Hankook V12 Evo's. Top tyre. Good price. Amazing performance, low road noise, Superb grip, just need about 1000 miles to run them in and start getting the best out of them. I've got these on my 2118's.

And these were the other tyres I was gonna try out! Sound good.

Sounds good but the only thing that would worry me is I only do about 3000 miles a year so a 1000 miles to get the best ou of them could take me a while lol.

Haha, they'll last you forever then mate :)
Mine will be a year old in 4 weeks. Covered about 12k in that time. No sign of any wear at all on the rear, and probably only about 2mm off the front. And the grip is as good as when they were new and run in.

I may try them then as the T1Rs do get abit of criticism for their wet weather performance.
