Can anyone tell me tyre size and speed rating for the MK2 172 (not cup) please? Ta

have looked at the possibity of fitting 205/35/16v

Looking at the circumference calcs of the two, they seem a close comparison.

for the 195s the circumference is 1568cm

the 205s - 1519cm

By choosing these tyres, they may be better as handling may be improved. Plus acceleration could be better due to the slight reduction in rolling circumferece?



Anyone else considered/tried this option?

Am I right in thinking here that a 205 width tyre will fit onto the standard clio 172 wheels?
