Tyre tread on track

I'm doing oulton park on 26th and just wondering about my tyres I've got exalato pe2 all round with about 3mm on fronts and 4 on back will these be alright for track aware that I'll need some more after just wanna make sure they will be fine on day cheers

Pretty sure you can run slicks on track.. tread is there to enable water to be dispelled. If it rains, you might be lacking grip.

Also, on the way home, assuming you only have one set of wheels, you might be illegal depending on harshness of your driving.
