I bought some 195/50/15 tyres the other day to replace some 195/60/15 tyres thinking it would be fine (previously I have gone from 15" to 17" - I bought them in a hurry and did not calculate the rolling radius oops). However, once I calculated the difference it worked out at -6.34% when the recommended maximum is 2.5%. The tyre fitter refused to fit them as the difference was too much.
However, if I were to fit 4 tyres instead of just replacing the front ones, would this be such an issue?
