tyres for a 1.2

basically im after some new tyres (2 fronts) for my 1.2 ph1 (165/65/14)

i do a good 50miles a day so i need ones that will grip reasonably but not cost the earth as it has done 106k nearly and i ideally want a new car by july.

any ideas???

got cheap federals on but as soon as they wear a couple of mm they turn to slicks....crap really
