Tyres

Am buying some new alloys and a lot of places offer "Premium Economy Tyres" with their alloys and very cheap prices. How bad are these types of tyres?

How much of a difference does this make with tyres, does that meant utter crap and will be finished with in no time at all?

It means poor grip, potentially dangerous if you like to push it especially in sh*te conditions.

Do as advised above, buy the rims then find somewhere with some good value, good quality tyres.

Do a search about brands.. Goodyear Eagle F1s are good and very popular (but expensive), Toyo Proxes TS-1s are a good cheaper option but wear out pretty quick too - those are just a couple of brands though, plenty of discussion about these and others in the past on here..

I get A539s fitted for 40 quid each.......cant really get cheaper than that for a decent tyre.

Yokos are pretty badass imo. Some say they wear quick, but so what. They grip like sh*t to a blanket on any car Ive had.
