Guys

Just wondering if anyone has run 205/50 on 16" alloys if there was any rubbing.? Been told by K-tec that it would be no use and to buy 15" alloys for the type of tyre I am after. Any info would be much appreciated.

What tures and what's the car for? Can only assume trackdays if ktec have suggested 15's

Dunlop Direzza tyres. It will be for doing sprints. I do have a selection of spacers which I thought would help a little and also GAZ coilovers. The car sits pretty solid with them

It's best to run 15's due to cost mate.

If your doing sprints id buy a set of 15" wheels and tyres. Couple of reasons. You will get through tyres quickly and cost. After using both 16 and 15 on track with various tyres the 15's seem better suited to track work

Sprints won't eat tyres.
You do need tyres that reach operating temperature quickly though, some venues do not allow tyre warming.

Im guessing you will go through tyres alot quicker than on a standard trackday?
