2003 Clio 172
My central locking won't work off the key fob (or the spare key), so I have to lock/unlock the car using the passenger side door lock and central locking button on the dash. Not a huge drama, but unfortunately because of this I can't arm the alarm. I've previously had the AA out who confirmed that the car wasn't receiving a signal from the key. I know that you can have the uch repaired, however I'm wondering if having an aftermarket alarm fitted instead would cure the problem, in other words lock and unlock the car off a fob? By most accounts the standard clio alarm isn't up to much anyway.
