ULTRASONIC ALARM

Does anyone know how to alarm a 182 with the windows open looked in the manual where it shows doing something with the key but i dont understand it.

Something like put the key in, turn it so the electrics come on, off, on, off take key out. Get out of the car arm alarm, and it should give 4 beeps. This means the internal ultrasonics are not armed only the other parts of the system.

So the key goes in the ignition,i was putting it in the door lock.

It just means that the system is locked but alarm will go off if someone opens the door.

You mean if someone opens the door from the inside?
