Unable to download up-dates

Can't up-date Windows Defender,Spyware Doctor,PC-cillin etc.
the sys
What do l have to do? I have run AdAware and also removed the serv.sys crap using PREVX CSI.

could be entries in your hosts file that shouldnt be there. start > run then copy and paste/type the following

notepad %WINDIR%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

should load a notepad window showing some text, there should usually only be a description of what the file is, then usually just one entry for 127.0.0.1 localhost.

Where is 'run' after l click on start? I am on Vista

hmm not that then, hosts file looks fine

Computer clogged up with oriental p**n.

Id delete some and try again.

Okay...all oriental p**n has been erased so what else do l do now?
