Uneven exhausts

  RB 182 FF
Hi guys just wondering if anyone has any tips for evening the exhaust tips on a 182? Will attach a photo to explain better but one side sticks out further than the other. I’ve got underneath and loosened the mounts but it doesn’t seem to want to move. Also photographed the mounts.

Put a jack under the exhaust to take the weight, undo the mounts and the clamp to the center section then jiggle it about until you get it in position.
They are a bit of a nightmare to get lined up tbh, you can spend ages getting it right then soon as you drive it a bit the exhaust moves again.

I asked the garage to do mine when they MOT’d it. They had to heat the hangers and bend them with pry bars to get the exhausts level.
No way I could have done it on the driveway myself.

Ah ok thanks guys I’ll give it a go - something to do! Is this the centre section clamp you mean? There’s a weld just past it

Apologies but I’ve never really looked at an exhaust in detail before. Front or back?

What exhaust is it? My scorpion rs192 has 2 back boxes and a join after the rear axle so they can be moved independently. I've still not got them even though😂. Some are easier to line up than others.

Shouldn't need to undo it at the olive joint, there should be a rear joint.

Loosen the rear joint and both rear mounts, then jiggle it into position and tighten all the bolts.

Not sure what model exhaust it is as it came on the car and wasn’t told. Pretty sure it’s a stainless cat back system though and now can see it’s from KTEC Racing. It’s just got one back box, the left pipe goes straight out and the right curves around to its exit point. I ended up just loosening everything I could see and used a rubber mallet and piece of wood where necessary to hit it back. Also tried pulling on the back box as I found something on the car further down that was solid for me to put my feet on and push off. I stopped after a while but managed to get the right pipe all the way back in the mount and the left side halfway so they’re about the same difference between the two but stick out further from the bumper which I’m happy enough with for now. Hopefully I can replace it with that Scorpion one with black tips that was spoken about on a group buy thread a while back if it goes into production, though. But thanks for the help guys, much appreciated :)
