Unison - Download speeds

Does anybody else on here use Unison? I have just started using it (having replaced my Windows laptop with a MBP) but I'm finding that my download speeds are nothing short of terrible. I have something downloading just now at only 66Kb/sec. I have a 10MB line and when using Newsleacher on my laptop, I have no problem maxing out on download speeds. Unison however, just won't. Is there anything I can change, settings wise? Or is there a better client to use?

I use it, get 1.1Mb/s through mine no problem mate.

I haven't had much of a play around with the settings on mine.

Just downloaded and tried that. Not a fan.
