unlocking iPhone 4 to orange

ive just got a iphone 4 off a mate hes on voda im on orange how do i go about getting it unlocked?

im new to iphones so im clueless cheers

Depends if it's still in contract. I'm guessing it has to be as it's 6 months old.

proper annoying my baseband or something cant be done i dont know it thats now or forever but its a shitter for me, can i revert back to a old os for it to be broken?
