Unlocking my N95 8GB from 3

Basically cut a long story short my mate wants to buy my phone off me but he is on O2 PAYG. How can I get it unlocked? Went to a couple of places in town today and they want £25. Is this the going rate or can I do it??

you can do it yourself, just need the right software and code

ive got it on my other computer, cant remember the name of it right now

The network provider can unlock them as well, the last time i did this it cost me £20

Buy a magic sim card off ebay about 5 quid, works a treat!

what you just put them in and they unlock your phone? Does that work on all phones?

You put it in, and leave it in. And they work for the majority of phones, usually go by the name of "Turbo X sim" or whatever.

Works on N95, tried and tested and working

You need to cut a tiny bit off your sim card so the little resistor on the "fake sim" fits in but it sits inline with your sim and the phone
