Did the video of me following come out at all Mark? Know the battery was on the way out.

Look forward to more vids! I wish i could have gone and given you the condescending benefit of my experience.

Whats it like on the banking?

Ok in a 140 hp golf Rob, but at 100mph, you can't help but feel a little "feck if my rear tyre or something mechanical goes pop, I'm in BIG trouble, even the cage didn't help quash that. I have a new found respect for nascar drivers.

Yeah, defo! Last year there i found it really difficult to hold the car. After our second race i collapased where i was so knackered!

Was flat in mine by the end of the day when it had totally dried out, that worked out to about the limiter in 4th, or a change up to 5th before I took the bend. At the end of the day it was 115 - 120ish before braking for the 'flick' chicane into turn one.

I was loosing so much speed though coming out of the 2nd gear hairpin onto the banking though through not being able to put the power down on the concrete. Was like ice untill 3rd gear.

I left mine in 3rd for the e3nd chicane, part of the "don't kill it" plan. I was also flat when dry, showing about 110-115 on the speedo

3rd bogged down to much on road tyres on the exit as you couldn't carry the speed through the tight hairpin leading onto the banking.

Nah, only tried it once in 4th and went so far sideways I thought the apex markers were history...stuck to 3rd for that one to help get the speed down after that.

I found 4th better than 3rd, the extra downchange unsettled the car a bit more, plus out the otherside you were still on the powerband for 4th anyway - i'm guessing at 80/90 mph.

Yup somewhere around there,

I needed an epic dab of oppo when i lost it with tall chap following me, he thought I did it intentionally, and had his on the lockstops behind me, showboating c**t LOL

I go through in 3rd and 'knock it up a cog' (lol) on the exit. Each to their own. I doubt one is much faster or slower than the other.

I didn't notice anything adverse, But there was a few, what does yours weigh though 5-600 kg's? LOL You can see from the vid its hoping about at the rear, comparred to the seat, set up a bit too stiff??

Rob, we were running an extra loop before joining the oval compaired to you that day by the looks of things.

I didn't find it too bumpy, but the harsh compression coming off the banking into the hairpin knackered my arch liners!!
