Upbadging Nonces

No photo because I was driving but I was behind an Audi A6 a couple of days ago with an RS6 badge on the back, along with the TDI badges still. Completely boggo basic diesel A6, not even slightly modified.

Why? What's the point?

I had exactly the same situation last week with a seemingly boggo white BMW 5 series estate, standard twin exit exhaust on one side, absolutely nothing about it supported the black M5 badge on the boot lid!

Not quite the same but I had to double take this lunchtime. Initially thought I was behind an S but it was just an A, all looked factory.

A chap on one of the police programs had an RS6 badge in his front grill of his standard A6 saloon  the copper remarked on it when he'd stopped the bloke.

I've seen a black 'BRABUS' S Class around a few times, he's got the boot lettering and wheel centres.. but it's a 3.0 diesel on 165k :ROFLMAO:

Vehicle make, MERCEDES
Date of first registration, March 2007
Year of manufacture, 2007
Cylinder capacity, 2987 cc
CO₂ emissions, 220 g/km
Fuel type, DIESEL
