Updates (Vista) help

My Mrs has a new laptop with Vista 32bit on. Now, every day all day long it's prompting her to install some Office updates:

I've searched the system and cannot find any office products installed, not even readers. If she chooses to install the above updates then they install but straight away it tells her these same updates are available to download. Looking at her update history it's just full of these updates.

I can't find any help via google, does anyone have any suggesations?

right click on them and choose hide update, they won't hassle you anymore then.

I guess that's one way to do it, thanks. Still baffled as to why it thinks they're needed.
