Upgade Speakers Help

I am wanting to upgrade the speakers in my 1.2 16v dynamique but i am clueless where to start. I have a Pionneer HU and want better sound but dont want to be spending alot as it is my first car. Any help would be appreciated

Get some 6x9 speakers for your parcel shelf.

Also, before you do that, buy a stealth shelf.

Ignore the poor advice, do not get 6x9s. Buy a set of front comps, if you arent amping nothing over £40-50, disconnect the rears and get a sub
Soundproofing is key to get the performance out of what you buy

Yeah I don't want a big chavy sound system but something decent

For my first one, I got some Front components and disconnected the rears, as said above. And got 2 jbl subs and made a nice box for it all. All in all i think it cost me just over £300. The best way to go though is a sub with built in amp. Saves a lot of hassle.
