Upgrades 1.5dci 100bhp

Just gave the Clio 1.5dci 100bhp Model a remap currently running roughly about 130bhp but wanting more power what would be a good move to buy for it next?

To be honest, if you want power buy a 1*2. If you want good mpg keep the diesel. They arnt powerhouses and wernt built to be bud.
To answer your question though
A remap and an exhaust is about all that IMO would be cost effective. Maybe an intercooler.

Ye had a remap had seconds thoughts just going to leave it at that for now until save up and can make big changes to it.

If you want big power then those big changes will need to involve a different car, or engine at least.

But yeah, the off-the-peg remaps say that the DCi 105 will get another 25 hp on top. I'd imagine it's probably well within limits

Ye bloke who does my maps told me running 130bhp but turned down the injectors not having them run on maz as will kill them . but had no problems as of yet too soon to see.

Ye by big changed thats what i meant noticed you cant really do anything else for power from this little engine.

I heard the injectors were the limiting factor. No obvious upgrade and custom injectors cost a pretty penny by all accounts

Only way to get more power is to run a custom fuel setup which is just retarded as you could just drop a dTi engine in there, whack some nozzles on the injectors, slap a sizeable hybrid on it, map and then you’re good for way over 130 and more torque

And by the time you've done that you'll have spent 2x 172 Clios and fuel for 20,000 miles
