upgrading PC. advice

hey. My pc is kinda slow and s**t. only 1.6ghz.

is it simple enough to buy a new PC and just shove in my hard drive so i dont lose all my progams and files? or should i get an external HD you think? im worried about itunes etc.


or do something else to make my PC less s**t.

any advice is helpful. also any sites or ppl selling stuff to help me.

should be simple enough to put your old hard drive into a new rig.

no doubt your old harddrive is ide. better off getting either a big sata or a couple of small ones. you would be better getting a 10-15 pound caddie for it and using it as an back-up external. whats your budget for a new comp? what will it be used for?

I am using a Vista theme which is 26.6 mb in size. Can't really remember where I got it from, but still have the .exe file. As for torrents I was using Azureus, but am now using uTorrent which I prefer for some reason!
