Uprating engine mounts

My car has already been in once to the dealer for engine knocking.

My exhaust has now split due to excessive engine movement.

I know there are the uprated ktec bushes but is there anything else available that will sort this problem.

Do the ktec ones sort it?

i have k-tec low engine mounts which is really good.

There is a compnay in Europe who sell uprated mounts for the other 3 mounts but there very expensive.

Also a rear exhaust mount would be a big seller if you could do it better than the renault one

The exhaust problem is down the lack of mounts nto the mounts which are there. The easy answer is to have another bracket welded on to hold the rear box.

thats exactly what i did when i had my magnex fitted. i asked the fitter if he could fabricate me a new mount & ive never had a problem since.

mines got 2 as well but still a pain in the asre - took 3 return visits and 3 melted tail pipe surrounds before they added one in prospeed

Not to difficult just takes a bit of time half and hour should have it done if you take your time.

not yet timmy boyo (i've been "sight seeing" in sweden) on its way ASAP

we do things properly mate, we're doing all 4 mounts

probably as these are fully CNC'd + poly mounts we're working on based loosley on the cup racer units (but obviously different as the cup racer has a differen engine subframe, the engine is attached to the subframe only on the cup racer)
