UPS lost 3 of my alloy wheels!!

  BMW E46 330i Touring
Surely as far as UPS are concerned, a package has been signed for and they have no record of the size of it?

If they're admitting that it's been lost then how do they know this!?!

Well exactly so they must have checked that only one of the boxes was delivered?

However I just went through the ebay members other purchases and this guy has bought no less than 6 different sets of alloy wheels plus the ones he bought from me?! Varying from 4stud to 5 stud, and all kinds of different makes... But they all left positive feedback and all were local pickup only...

I emailed them all and asked them if there were any problems with the transaction, maybe he is scamming big style?

if UPS dont have any record other than them being delivered...

it is worth their while just to say the must have been lost and pay out...

they are a huge company and it doesnt take much for them to pay out to stop disputes..

im sure the compensation is petty cash to them...

i still think the guy has done this kinda thing before and is trying to scam u and the parcel company...

Sounds like a scammer tbh. Fight it and keep it up with ups. Dont make sense if they have accepted the parcel in a 'not packaged properly' condition and its the guys fault for letting his missus sign for one box instead of 4.

surly if boxes had become detached it would be obvious that something had been seperated as the tape will suddenly stop (at the joins) and only be on 5 faces of the box if you can see what im meaning?

This "quick peek" stuff is absolutely b****cks...when you deliver packets and parcels everyday it gets to the point where you couldnt care less what is in the box.
I know someone who works for citylink and he has opened a few boxes and opened a phone box and took the charger out as a spare. the guy is an arsehole like.

his not scamming you, theve just been lost, it happens, i dont think your going to get any compensation either as the packaged was delivered and signed for incomplete or otherwise.

Paypal will screw you.
They will definitely side with the buyer unless you can provide online tracking of the parcel, even then it will be tricky. It's worse if you have the little shield appear next to your paypal logo, which happens after 50 positive feedbacks and feed back better than 99% or so. They virtually guarantee giving a refund to the buyer if you have the shield thingy.

Dealing with them is impossible, it is just automated email responses, and the phone is not answered.

I think your insurance claim will be accepted though, but don't show them that photo!

The best way is to buy with Paypal, sell without.
