Urgent Advice!!

Hi all just found out my gearbox has gone possible £2,000 to solve the problem only paid £2,700 for the car so thinking of getting rid,

i have been advised i can get second hand gearbox for around £700 fitted

i also thought maybe part ex the car with carcraft etc

would they still take my car and how would the value be affected by the gearbox

can anyone help PLEASE I WANA CRY SO BAD

oh yer didnt notice that if you ring cliospares on 01302 867985 with ur reg they can check the part number u need on the renault parts website & they might have a gear box for you?

renault is a rip off lol seriously try clio spares.. not like im biased hehe but you would get a 3month warrenty on it, pay on ur card, delivery etc
or if u r after a brand new gearbox, they discount on genuine renault parts. not sure how much as they have different offers each week etc

Seriously, if it's going to cost that much, you might as well kit out your garage with tools and do it yourself!!

i dunno! its just this thing that cliospares has signed up to.. genuine parts are offered at discounted rates! sometimes up to 60% but as i said it depends..

dunno much else! i just help out sometimes when its busy

Pickup a phone book. Call any none dealer garage and ask for a quote. Then ring around the other garages and play them off each other until you find the cheapest.

Remove the "mug" tattoo from your forehead as well for evening considering using Renault.

Do it yourself! Its pretty straight forward, source a second hand box and fit it yourself.
