I am in serious need of one of you clio genius's out there and really hope one of you can help me.....
Car is a 1.2 8v 1998 RN
Basically, my rear wheel bearing has been going for a while and its got to the point where its gotta be done. My friend was a mechanic until recently and he did one of the front wheel bearings a year or so ago for me, but he isn't sure about the rear (with them being drums rather than discs) and i basically need to know what i need to buy in terms of parts to do it. Is it just a wheel bearing or is it a whole new hub????
Also I have been losing brake fluid very slowly for a while and then recently it has started draining much quicker... when i was having a look at the drum that is going to need the bearing changing yesterday i noticed that most of the paint i put on (hammerite) has been stripped off, and there is a lot more black dirt on the inside of that wheel than the other rear one.. I spoke to my friend about this and he basically said it sounds like the break cylinder needs replacing???
This is only urgent as today is his day off and he can do it for me now... So anyone that can help it would be much appreciated!
Thanks a lot in advance and sorry for the essay....
