in the mood for buying one, need some opinions.............Sony MP40 mp3 player, or Pioneer 3500MP mp3 player...........which do i purchase????

personally i recon pioneer........ had a pioneer 1 in my previous car for about 3 years - never had a problem and still goin fine

ive just ordered the pioneer, from what i hear they give good sound quality so gonna give it a try. A mate of mine has just bought the sony mp40, so im trying somethin different, thanks for the opinion. Rob

I got the Pioneer 7500MP in the US for £161 it worked out as if that helps. Plus, the guy said the Pioneer is better than the rest for price/quality. If ya buy a stereo from over in the US does it still work in our cars????

Them stereos on that american site are well cheap,

the cd unit will work fine but the radio tuning only goes up in .2s

103.4 103.6 103.8 etc so u might not be able to tune it in properly

I went from Alpine to Sony and i can safely say that I will never ever buy another sony product again! It sounded crap looked okish, i was very disapointed. Got a JVC unit at the moment and it looks amazing and sounds good. Still prefered my old alpine tho just looked very plain!

£161 for that Pioneer?? Thats a bargain!!!! Ive ordered the 3500MP one now, my mate just got the sony MP40, so thought id be different. Cant wait to get it now!
