URGENT HELP!! new track rods are shorter than old ones, is 20mm thread in the end ok?

sorry for posting in the wrong forum but need some quick help!

hi, just trying to fit new track rods (the inner bit, not the ends) and the supplied ones are 301mm compared with the old ones that are 316mm. this means i have 20mm of thread going into the end compared with 35mm on the olds ones- is this enough? i've got a cup if the wider track makes any difference?

So im guessing you have been supplied non cup spec track rods?
Ideally you would want the correct spec ones. 20mm should be ok, but more would be much better
