Urgent Help !!

What is the best way to put a 8awg cable through the bulkhead/firewall of the mk2 phase 2 clios ?

I tried to get mine through the bonnet release cable grommet but failed so ended up drilling a hole in the bulkhead which is then sealed around the power cable with silicone, not pretty but works. Carpet covers it up and under the arch its hidden by the liner anyway.

not really, just been trying to get it through the bonet release gromet.. no luck..

I dunno where to drill if I did have to drill it..

I gave up trying that grommet and drilled another hole right next to it! (no patience me!).

I used some really good black sticky stuff I got from work and just gunged it all up around it...

remove the grommet (bonnet release cable needs to be disonnected aswell)

drill through the grommet

replace grommet

feed cable through the hole you have just drilled

job done

and it is possible as i have 4awg cable going through
