******URGENT- Opening a mk1 bonnet********

That wont open with the catch, a new one has just been put on and now the guy cant open it. How do we get round it?!

Push down on the bonnet whilst undoing the catch see if that works mate, if not call the AA

^^^ Thats for a Mk2 though mate. What exactly has happend? Has the cable snapped?

Piss, just noticed the MK1 bit. Would imagine if it's the same problem it should be a similar fix.

Yeah was a bent hinge on the new bonnet, I pushed down whilst Dave got the cable. Car was a shitter anyway so still looking for one!

no, afraid not mate. What kind is it your looking for - 1.2/1.4/3dr/5dr etc, and I can keep an eye out. I might be selling my 1.4 in a while but would be wanting more than £300, and the way things are going I still don't know if I'll keep that or the 16v.
