URGENT PLEASE READ

Can someone tell me where the gear box level plug is on a 1.2 8v???

Drive shaft has just popped out whilst lowering, pissed oil everywhere, need to refil.

oo no mate, my mate did this on his pug when refitting standard shocks, makes a right mess, good luck fella

its like a black screw type of thing, release that abit so when you put new oil in all the air goes out, put oil in through the tube thingy(funnel)

nope dont have a pic sorry fella, put your hands round the box you should be able to feel it, and its tight as hell to get off,

You'll need a bit of hose pipe and a funnel to fill it up again.

As for where it is.... I know but can't really describe it.

Gearbox oil smells like cats piss too.

Not on top as you'd expect, more on the front of it (radiator side). Will be a plastic wing nut type thing.

As above it will be white or black, you cant miss it really.

yeah a little white plug kinda of thing. if its tight use pliers or tap it very gently with a flat screwdriver gimme a bell if u get stuck!

Cheers for the help all. It was covered up quite well by an aftermarket alarm I had fitted, just made it very hard to see!

Car is now sorted, but due to the unexpected gearbox piss all over my drive incident only the front is currently lowered, looks f**king mint though!
