URGENT Question about throttle housing

I think it is normal.

Dont know anything about idle control on the Clio, but going back to the days of carburettors, you would have an idle speed adjustment screw that would change the gap on the flap (butterfly). Increasing the gap gives a higher idle, reducing the gap gives a lower idle. Closing it stops the engine...

I guess with the fly by wire setup on yours there is some sort of stepper motor controlling the angle.
 


Thanks for your comment guys. After the cleaning, I fitted it back an hour ago and it is fine. The gap seems smaller and back to normal I think.

Anyway, cleaning the intake manifold and the throttle is good. People should DIY every 6 months to make the engine cleaner.
