Usefull tool

Mac man came round my work this week offering a tool that I thought was a pretty blinding deal. Basically its a fault code reader. It plugs into any diagnosic socket (16 pin) of any car 2001 onwards. It can read out the engine control unit fault codes and erase them turning off the engine light if it were to come on. It tells you what the fault code means and you have a book to cross reference with. Obviously the fault codes are just a guide and you'll still need to know what you are doing, but only cost me around £60 + vat. Quite handy if you ask me, and I thought you guys might be interested.

we only get the snap on man come round to where i work, dont suppose you know a number or something i could get my boss to try and arrange them to pop round?

I've got a Ktec one and it works fine for less than £60
