V6 255 will there be another

when renault stop making the current V6255 in july will there be a new replacement.



if no do you think there will ever be another ?

No plans for the Mk3. Probably more chance of the Megane V6 being made.

Renault have said there wont be another Clio V6, but the company does have a history of making crazy cars from small hatchbacks. It might take a few years, but I bet theyll come up with something else one day.

Yeah I read the official stand is that they will not be introducing a new model after the Mk2.

But personally, I dont think they will be able to resist a new project. Its what renault do.

Couple of years, and I bet we will be seeing something equally as special unvailed at some foreign motor show!!

Start saving now as its bound to be good.

There might be something along the same lines.

The V6 is a flagship for Renault.

Depends if the nissan ifluence takes hold.

Look at them, BTCC champions, Sunny GTIR, 200sx, 300zx, Primera GT, Almera GTI and now what do they do?

1 sporty car and the rest are dull in comparison.

Let hope Renault dont follow their lead

Although the Almera GTI wasnt exactly an earth shattering car.

There will be a 182 replacement but the 182 finishes production early next year the new Renault sport 2.0 comes out in the summer.

Renault have a dedicated Renaultsport factory at Dieppe, so they wont want to have this facility redundant.

After the Clio 16V and Williams were stopped, IIRC they turned their attentions to the Megane Coupe and Spider at Dieppe.

Since there are no other new deceent-volume Renaultsport cars coming out as the 182/V6 end, Id say a new Renaultsport Clio is near!

V6 stops end of June with the 182s at the end of September. The Renaultsport version of the replacement for Clio wont be out until early summer next year - but no V6 version, sniff, sniff.
