v6 airfilter

any1 know where i can get a v6 air filter housing and all the necessary parts.

Has any1 got any guides on how to fit and what it looks like?

i assume you mean the scenic v6/lagune v6 one. As the V6 clio airbox doesn't fit in the 1*2's?! (197 is a different kettle of fish)

Thats the one. Couldn't remember myself. It's basically a makeshift "Maxogen" lookin airbox.

Do a search for V6 Espace airbox, theres been loads of talk of them in the past year or so. The Renault part numbers have been listed somewhere.

I got mine of an Espace about to be scrapped. best bet to try renault scrappies if you don't want to buy new

do they have the same induction roar as an external filter? i have a k&n on at min and i love the noise but performance is ment to be shite. i duno what to do and aint got loads to spend? any ideas? is this the best solution?

That has been asked so many times and started so many pointless arguments. My thoughts are pure and simply noise EU Regs, Even with a full length CAF it's noiser than the std setup, and TBH, it's a real tight squeeze to get it to fit nice and proper.

My car feels better for having it on there, and it gives a nice little roar under full throttle. At the end of the day if it was good enough for the cup cars, albe it in a slightly different setup it's better IMO than an open filter sucking in hot ambient air from the engine

Answer that your self Hopkins! What does the cup racer have that the 172/182 doesn't!!? Explains why they didn't use the stock Airbox
