V6 Cadwell

Not a bad video. Not a great one for the Mk1 boys though, some of the lines were a bit interesting!
 
if its the black 182 whos also from trackation online, then theyre both very similar paced round the track. both standard.
 
I chased Jeremy around Cadwell. He's a better driver than me, and probably the best driver I've seen or been out with in a V6....well most cars to be honest.

I was pushing as hard as I dared, which was probably harder than I should. Throughout the lap he gradually pulled away from me, with a couple of exceptions. At the goose neck the quick change of direction and drop would unsettle the V more where as the Trophy was able to flick through there no problem. The only other place was the series of corners as you join the track. Again it was the quick changes in direction which the V couldn't cope with as well as a FWD hot hatch. Other than that it was quicker for the remainder of the lap.

What kills the 1*2s/197s there are all the hills, the V just powers up them with ease.

With anyone other than JT behind the wheel I can't see there being anything in it.
 
the guy in the 182 was the better driver, i know the v6 was maybe carrying more speed but i dont think he was giving the throttle a little blip on the down change and it looked to be unselttling the car, as for the 182 he was taking nice smooth lines and looked to be getting back on the power nice and early. Cracking video though, the v6 sounded sexual!!

Oi, so did I. I even took huge amounts of kerb.....where the kerb was far too high to be doing so. :o

And Iain I still fear for my life when i think about the ammount of kerb you were takin! haha
 
:D wicked vid, thats me in the mk1 right at the start being chased by the v6. yep lines were abit shocking on that lap but it was my first few laps/ track day and was getting use to the track:clown: thats my excuss anyway...
oh and that v6 sounds and looks sexual:evil:
