V6 : how much longer will.....

Read my mind ... more leverage on the missus on why Ive got to get a Vee sooner rather than later ;)

So what are they going to replace it with? If I stretch things and buy myself a Vee 1Q05 ... what will I be kicking myself over later? Assume this is end of line with the new Clio in the wings?

They probably wont replace it for a long while. The new Clio wont be available in a Renaultsport version until 2006, and thatll be a front-engined 4 seater conventional hatch.

Remember the mid-engine R5 Turbo, that didnt ever get replaced.

at our new dealer being built at the mo in trowbridge there putting in a v6 in the acid greeny/yellow colour when its finished - will be interesting to see what that looks like in the flesh

telford_mike : that’s a bit silly. I am getting my 182 on a 12 month contact hire so will have to give it back at the start of December 2005 and Renault wont have anything I can replace it with???

another 182 if youre lucky. The Mk2 Clio first appeared in 1998. It was another 2 years before the 172 came out. There wont be a performance version of the new Clio when the range makes its debut.
