Are there any downsides to having an LSD on a RWD car? Im guessing that it would make handling trickier (more than normal...is that possible?) on the limit, because both tyres would be spinning and not leaving one with grip??*

*feel free to correct my ramblings :p

About 21. How does £60 for a tank of Optimax grab you?

My journey to work is very short (4 miles) - hardly enough to warm up the engine really. Off to Devon for the weekend so hopefully things will improve a bit.

Im called mike too, so can I boast that I got 31.5mpg average on my journey back from Wolverhampton yesterday? :D

....it has dropped somewhat after giving a few rides to some colleagues...

I get more or less constant 25 mpg out of ours, that includes in and out of London, and motorway driving.

havent actually managed to put much over £50 in one tank yet - thats Optimax at 89.9p !!!!

Im not called Mike and my dad got 32mpg coming back from Southampton (600+miles) and according to the computer he averaged 73mph:cool:

Im getting 25mpg now.

Wolverhampton? Youre lucky you got out alive mate ;) Are there many of those Pumas left now?
Tell me about it, thought I was going to get trapped on the ring road there forever. And it was raining and I was new to the V6, not a good combination.

As for FRPs, there are about 350 remaining according to the guys in the know, over on the pumapeople forum. Ive owned two in the last two years, brilliant cars. Small engines, but theyre all about agility, they are closer in feel to an elise than a hot hatch. Oh yeah, and the exhaust pops which makes the ownership experience all the better. Well you need something to keep you happy when a 182 dissapears into the distance. ;)
